Skilled Machine Operators Positions Available at Arvco Container downtown Kalamazoo.

*This position will require a resume submittal to the customer as well as an on-site interview with a Supervisor!*

Pay Rate: $17 – $20 depending on position & experience
1st shift:  5am to 3:30pm Monday through Saturday 
2nd shift: 3 pm to 1 am, Monday through Saturday

Working 10-12 hour days, 6-7 days a week!  EVENTUAL SWING SHIFTS MAY BE REQUIRED!

Machine Operator Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 3 years+ previous experience in a Machine Operator role.
• Must have longevity in each Manufacturing position to be considered. 
• No past work experience at Arvco Container.
• Occasional lifting of 50 pounds and frequent lifting of 10-20 pounds during a normal work day.
• Properly use and understand the required measurement equipment including tape measures, micrometers, and other tools.
• Operate and perform at speeds necessary to meet production demand.
• Must be able to bend, reach, and stand for 10-12 hour shifts.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment.
• Qualified candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Paperboard or corrugator experience a plus!
